What is euhr?: The tithe, which means one-tenth in the dictionary, means zakat given from agricultural products as a religious concept. The fact that agricultural products are subject to zakat is fixed in the Qur'an.

Almighty Allah says, “O you who believe! Spend out of the best of what you have earned and what We bring out for you from the earth as sustenance.” (Baqara, 2/267); “It is He Who created (grape) orchards with and without arbors, various dates, crops, olives and pomegranates, alike and dissimilar. When each one bears fruit, eat of its fruit. Give its due (zakat and alms) on the day it is gathered, but do not waste it; for God does not love the wasteful.” (Enam, 6/141)
