Nutrition is one of the most basic and important needs of human beings. It is impossible for people who cannot eat enough to perform their vital functions, but unfortunately, millions of people around the world lose their lives due to inadequate and unhealthy nutrition. As Hiranur Ilm and Service Association, we could not remain silent in the face of millions of tons of food wasted every day due to waste, while at the same time millions of people lose their lives due to hunger, and we took action.

With the projects we have launched, we regularly provide food and food aid in the countries of Africa struggling with poverty and hunger, and we set up iftar tables that bring hearts together with love on blessed days and nights.

In addition to these, we provide daily 3000 servings of hot meals and 3000 large loaves of bread from our own kitchen to the students of knowledge, those in need, and other Quranic schools. We provide food packages to families in need. Moreover, we also serve hot meals to those in need with our mobile kitchen that travels region by region.

Sharing a bite of bread and a bowl of soup is beautiful.

Did not Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) say, "He is not one of us who sleeps comfortably while his neighbor goes hungry?" Therefore, we have decided to share our bread and soup with the people, and we have established our kitchen with this consciousness. Our kitchen, established with this consciousness, provides food for 3000 people per day in a 350-square-meter space with 12 employees. Our kitchen, which feeds the students of knowledge, Quranic schools, and those in need, including hundreds of orphans, also prepares food packages with great care. Our goal is to share our food and instill the consciousness of sharing, and during the blessed days and nights, in the month of Ramadan, we open our doors to the public, organize iftar dinners, and share our food.

"And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive."

MOBILE SOUP KITCHEN

One of our soup kitchen services is our Mobile Soup Kitchen project. With our mobile soup kitchen vehicle, we travel street by street in areas where our homeless and poor brothers and sisters are densely located, and offer them hot meals. We also provide meal distribution to other associations that request it from us.

In addition, with our soup kitchen vehicle, we provide hot meals to our fellow citizens who have been victims of disasters such as floods, fires, and earthquakes that unfortunately have occurred frequently in recent times, as well as to the rescue teams operating in these areas.

FOOD AID

While waste is becoming increasingly prevalent in the world, millions of people in many regions cannot access even one meal a day due to financial constraints and livelihood difficulties. Unfortunately, millions of people who are inadequately fed in Africa and Asia lose their lives due to hunger. Although this situation is not as serious in our country as it is in Africa and Asia, thousands of families are still struggling financially. As Hiranur Ilm and Service Association, we are working to alleviate this sad picture faced by our brothers and sisters. We regularly distribute food aid packages to needy families that we carefully identify in our country and abroad and work to alleviate their financial burden.
