SUSTAINABILITY

While waste is increasing all over the world, millions of people in many regions are unable to access daily meals due to financial difficulties and livelihood problems. Unfortunately, millions of people in Africa and Asia who are insufficiently fed are losing their lives due to hunger. Although this situation is not as severe as in Africa and Asia in our country, thousands of families are still struggling with livelihood problems. As Hiranur Knowledge and Service Association, we are working hard to eliminate this sad situation that our brothers and sisters face. With our "Sustainability" projects, we aim to enable needy families to be self-sufficient and able to sustain themselves without needing others.

 

MILK GOAT

With our "Milk Goat for a Family's Livelihood" project, we provide milk goats to our African brothers and sisters to contribute to their livelihoods. Families can meet their nutritional needs by using the meat and milk of these goats, as well as earn money by selling them.

SOLAR KIT

While the world is entering the space age, some parts of Africa have not yet had access to electricity. With our solar kit distribution project, we bring electricity to these regions, lighting up the homes and roads of the local people, enabling them to continue their lives even after dark. Thus, we become a beacon of hope for them.

SEEDS

With our "Economic Empowerment Seeds" project, we aim to enable needy families to be self-sufficient and able to sustain their lives without the need for others. We distribute seeds suitable for the region's climate to our African brothers and sisters who make their living through agriculture but cannot afford to access appropriate seeds. By doing so, we not only contribute to the livelihoods of farmers but also help the local community to access food more easily and affordably.

DISASTER FUND

 

Domestic Emergency Disaster Fund

Disasters that come knocking on our door unexpectedly cause significant and sometimes irreparable damage to our country. As Hiranur Knowledge and Service Association, we take action as soon as we learn about disasters such as floods, forest fires, and earthquakes that affect our citizens, and stand by our brothers and sisters who are affected, helping them heal their wounds.

 

 

With our "Domestic Emergency Disaster Fund", we provide all kinds of financial assistance to the disaster areas. We serve hot meals to the disaster-stricken people and rescue teams with our "Mobile Soup Kitchen" vehicle. In addition, with our "One Tree Thousand Lives" project, we work to regain our green areas by planting saplings in areas where trees and vegetation have been destroyed due to disasters.

 

 

With our "Domestic Emergency Disaster Fund", we cover all the needs of our brothers and sisters who are affected by natural disasters such as floods, fires, earthquakes, and landslides in our country, and we support the rescue teams working in the region by mobilizing all our resources.
